From my experience helping buddies look for wounded bears, you dont find them.  They either hide themselves or get immediately eaten by other bears.  The Monroe hunt is a damage control hunt and the more bears killed the happier DNR is, however it is too bad, ethically, that a bear was shot and probably killed and not retrieved.  I am glad that saylean is putting in a lot of effort into finding this bear.

That was an exciting story, I hope you find that bear.  I was in some thick stuff yesterday where a bear could disappear very quickly.
We need a crusade for the children, a children's crusade.
