They are indeed made by Barnes labeled Remington. Have heard the jackets are thicker on the sabot for the heavy 200 grain loads.

I shoot the same gun and bullet and 150 charge. They are great!!!!

Congrats on a great bull
Yep, the normal Barnes sabot can’t stand up to 200 gr of powder. Back when they were under the Remington Outdoor Company Umbrella Barnes and Remington were one in the same, so it was just a branding choice. The bullets I recover all look just like that. Impressive stuff!

Story:
Hunting in the morning. 10 minutes before legal shooting hours a nice 5 point and cow walk right passed us. I pass on them but try and keep tabs on them.
We also see a spike and cow walking in 5 minutes before legal hours .
Around 8am we see another cow, I get ready to shoot, but I am about 2 seconds too late and it walks off.
I start to follow the cow doing cow calls and out of nowhere comes a bugle. My dad starts the bugle back process. Now the cow I was after is 75 yards away but I pass because we have a bull being vocal with us. But as we try and close the distance the bull keeps moving out of sight.

We set out around 2:30 for the afternoon hunt. We park and start walking in and start hearing bugles. My dad bugles back and the bull comes in on a rope to us. I get to the top of the hill where is looks like he is waiting for me. I shot around 75 ish yards and it drops right there. My first bull.
