I am new to hunting and to the area. I was just introduced by a friend of mine and would like to spend the rest of the season trying to fill my deer-elk-bear tag.
I have never gotten any large game besides predator control at my previous farm location.
I am a farmer, 38, USMC OIF vet (I am approved for a harvester / companion card), avid backpacker, and general outdoors enthusiast.
I am an excellent marksman, trained in first aid, survival, and have my own gear etc. I'll be using my bolt action .308.
I'm looking to go on some mid-week quick overnights or local hunts. Around SW Washington, willing to drive but can't be away from the farm for too long.
I also have a little spot set up we can hunt, but it hasn't paid off yet.
