Big Buck Series III
« on: November 11, 2007, 09:46:16 AM »
This guy was about 30 yards down the hill.  His doe was camped out in a huge brush pile and wasn't moving.  the only time he would move was when a spike tried to get close or the two point on the hill would come down.  She was very close to having babies.

Any thoughts on what this guy's spread is.  I realize thats like asking what the weight is of a deer...by the way, this one might just go over 300 pounds. ;)   I was thinking about 26.  Is that too low or high?   Don't be afraid to hurt my feelings, I want honest thoughts.  I was sick my close up shots on this guy didn't turn out.  I think I will go back just in hopes of seeing him again.  I rarely do.  ANyway.  there is something about a blocky massive mature buck.  I don't care about 3x4.  This guy is a trophy in my book.  I never noticed that about the eyeguards. COOL!  I found one more buck like this one, but was a 3x3.  He was huge.  I'll get that story on here.  He was part of a grand adventure.

26" is my vote too.
