Maybe a domestic that got mixed up with the wrong crowd?
I've seen wild hens with white chicks...no domestics around here. They usually don't last long though...pretty easy target for great horned owls up in the roost. The four white ones I saw were all gone by Sept.
Is anyone else disappointed to see the demise of albino or leucistic animals. Some woman in I think South Carolina shot an all white whitetail this year. I didn't think it was right shooting it. I don't know...

I saw nothing wrong with shooting the Tom we did, are you holding it to a higher standard just because it’s white? It’s a genetic defect and there’s a reason they don’t last in the wild

After seeing your beard I thought you most likely had a leucistic turkey like this one.https://www.fieldandstream.com/hunting/hunter-kills-white-turkey-north-carolina/?amp
You shot the Guy Fieri of the turkey world, I'd use one of his recipes on it
I think the wild turkeys tend to readily and even prefer burbon toms, a popular domestic that's whiteI've never seen a wild white turkey that wasn't close to people and farms with potential domestic turkeysYou don't need a license to shoot domestic turkeys, and white turkeys are domestic imo
