ANY wild critter that sticks out like that is going to ‘get got’. Too easy to spot.
Might as well take it if it is legal to do so.
Cuterebra are NOT cute!

I have no problem with anybody shooting an albino or leucistic animal. I think that they are really cool. I just feel like there is something spiritual about them more so than a regular animal. I have seen a few awesome piebald whitetails shot this year in some other states. One crazy non-typical one with just a bunch of times coming off a thick base. It's pretty cool. Nice bird! What color was the beard? Reddish or white?

Weird, did it's eyes have any color? I would think it's beard would be reddish or white, not like a normal turkeys.

we had a young jake in the Teanaway about 7 years ago. No domestic birds around. They happen just as other animals.

Be careful who sees this as the bunny lovers will petition the commissioners to completely ban the taking of even partially albino animals.

After seeing your beard I thought you most likely had a leucistic turkey like this one.

LOL this is the same guy from the Meat Eater article I posted above. Avidwoutdoorsman could've been getting all the articles written about him too.  :chuckle:

You shot the Guy Fieri of the turkey world, I'd use one of his recipes on it  :chuckle:

I think if I picked up an albino I'd actually pay for the mount.  That's pretty cool

I think the wild turkeys tend to readily and even prefer burbon toms, a popular domestic that's white

I've never seen a wild white turkey that wasn't close to people and farms with potential domestic turkeys

You don't need a license to shoot domestic turkeys, and white turkeys are domestic imo
