ANY wild critter that sticks out like that is going to ‘get got’. Too easy to spot.
Might as well take it if it is legal to do so.

I have no problem with anybody shooting an albino or leucistic animal. I think that they are really cool. I just feel like there is something spiritual about them more so than a regular animal. I have seen a few awesome piebald whitetails shot this year in some other states. One crazy non-typical one with just a bunch of times coming off a thick base. It's pretty cool. Nice bird! What color was the beard? Reddish or white?

Weird, did it's eyes have any color? I would think it's beard would be reddish or white, not like a normal turkeys.

we had a young jake in the Teanaway about 7 years ago. No domestic birds around. They happen just as other animals.

I think the wild turkeys tend to readily and even prefer burbon toms, a popular domestic that's white


I've never seen a wild white turkey that wasn't close to people and farms with potential domestic turkeys

You don't need a license to shoot domestic turkeys, and white turkeys are domestic imo
