Killing Ducks Falcon Style

Had a chance to go out with a friend/co-worker today with his Gyre falcon and brought my boy along to witness a different way to get a duck.. He was very impressed let alone very excited..
Here are a few shots of the morning hunt.

Last year I was sitting next to a little beaver pond out in the woods, the pond had some mallards and teal that frequented it.So here I am squating in the cattails watching the sky over my spread.Off to the north I spy 8 or so mallards coming in,landing gear dropping,I'm ready, here they come, safety off(click)......then all of a sudden out of a tree comes a hawk, not sure what kind but big like a red tail and wham grabs a mallard right out of the sky
,the rest of the flock flared off,no shooting
,but that was one of the gnarliest things I'ld ever seen,I was out ducked by a master that day.
