Prone shooting in mixed terrain, so swivel and self leveling a plus.

Fairly easy to remove, but not neccessarly quick attach.

I just got a Harris adapter for my ar and can use the same bipods for my other rifles and AR.  Mostly because I already have a "3" set of the Harris in different sizes, but they work good enough for me.
