Do you have a price sheet somewhere?  I know most cost will be estimates based off wood/design/etc, but just looking for generic cost of things.
We are wanting a new breakfast table and thinking about going the slab route depending on cost. 
I ordered a slab floating shelf from a guy years ago, 36"x10" and was knock off my chair on the price after he did all the finishing work to it.  I don't want that shock after I have already committed again.

Keep some perspective relative to rising material costs. I bought an 8'x3'x2" butcher block for our kitchen island 2 months ago from Home Depot for $999. That same piece is now listed at $1200, but unavailable within 100 miles or online. A quality, hand-crafted, American table top may look like a bargain right now in comparison.

I agree and will.  I'm all about perspective these days.  More people should try it out  :tup:

What is your board foot charge for either green or dry walnut and maple slabs?
