First buck on my own
« on: October 29, 2021, 11:28:57 AM »
2021 season was a successful one for myself it was great memories and even better I got to put some meat in the freezer. I've always had my dad by my side when I've gotten a buck I've gotten three with him, but it was a totally different experience by myself this year. I'm thankful to have a great dad who was able to teach me the way of the woods. He has taught me so much about the way of life and how to not be a jackwagon. Can't wait to get another one on the ground with him because nothing beats hunting with the old man but a big goal of mine was to be able to take a blacktail buck by myself. Even though this buck isn't my biggest he stocked the freezer and made for some great memories. Good luck to everyone else and shoot straight!

Nice job. Enjoy every minute hunting with your Dad. I lost mine back in 2018. Best Hunting partner I ever had.

Nicely done, dandy buck. I hear you loud and clear about your dad, mine was lost a few years ago also, was always with us out in the field during hunting season teaching us his vast knowledge and still is ...........On a little lighter note, once again great buck and story and I got to give you 2 thumbs up on that mullet, its also a dandy

Hand him a pack of steaks and say that to his face.  Will mean a great deal to him. Well done for multiple reasons.

That's awesome.  You got one more blacktail by yourself than a lot of guys around here!
