Would you sell these....
« on: November 13, 2009, 03:45:44 PM »
As I moved these things out my way for the 100th time I started thinking to myself why not sell them and use the cash for something I will use, like the new varmint rifle I just put on layaway.  :)

When I look at them though I think about how cool it was to find them.  They are by far the best sheds I have found.  About a 350 class bull.

I know they would bring some good coin on ebay.  Just tough to bring myself to sell them though.

I've given a few away, those I don't really regret, and I have sold like 3, and I severly regret it.

I could never sell mine. I work way too hard for them. Plus they make good conversation pieces ALL OVER the house. They are also just good reminders of times in the woods. Ill look over, while watching TV or reading, see one and then re-live that day. I personally like shed hunting more than hunting. Just my  :twocents:

If you are doing something with them, then no. If they are just laying around in the way that you have to move 100 times, then yes I would. Get something that you can use out there to find more.

Shed hunting is fun, but in no way would I want then all over the house. Or stacked in my garage taking up space going to waste. Never know someone might even put them together and do a mount and show them off??

In this economy I would keep them unless you needed the money. I can tell you that these sheds ion e-bay won't fetch more than about 400-500 dollars and in my opinion there worth more than that. It's unfortunate but true that in our current economic state there is little room for luxury purchases like this.

Keep em

I found these in 2005.  Don't do much shed hunting anymore.  Way too many guys out there these days.

They are still sitting in my garage.  I can't bring myself to sell them.  I have thought about putting them on a plaque but don't really have the wall space.  I have several sets of muledeer sheds I have put on scull plates from Van Dykes.

I have sold a lot of deer sheds but keep the nice ones.  I still have way too many just sitting around.  I've made a few lamps and stuff with them but lost interest in that.  I think I'll hold onto these and maybe put them on the wall someday.
