Cougar Taxidermist
« on: November 02, 2021, 05:00:25 PM »
I just shot my first cougar last week. I’ve been looking for a taxidermist that does consistently good work cats. I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about Philip Soucy and think he does amazing work, I’m just weighing out my options and was wondering if anyone had any input. Thanks in advance!

I also can't help with a cat taxi.

That looks like a monster cat!

Soucy is the best in the world. If you're looking for a perfect t mount that will still look alive in 20 years, then I'd pay his price. There are a few others around these days that do great cats as well if saving a little money is more of a priority. :twocents:

Phil Soucy is "The Cat Man" but if booked to far out, his Brother-in-Law Dean Haun, is great as well. They are very meticulous in their work and it's shows!! If I had a Cat to be mounted they would be my only choices! Look and compare to anyone.

Dont even mess around with that cat, send it to Soucy.  Never seen a cat come close to his.

The only 2 taxidermists that I would trust with a cat is Soucy or Michael at Nature’s way in Spanaway.

So are you 5 foot tall or is that a huge cat?   How much did it weigh??   Can’t wait to see it all taxi’d up.  Gorgeous cat..congrats.

Thank you everyone! I think I’m going to get ahold of Soucy. It’s about an 8 hour drive from me but it seems worth it with what everyone’s saying. From what I’ve seen in pictures he does do amazing work on cats. Buy once cry once!
