Truck and Garage Broken Into In Spokane

Posting up in case people see something crop up on any marketplaces or Craigslist and what not. The jerks stole 2 pistols which were in pistol safes and numerous other items. They got into my truck then used the garage door opener to get into the garage and get some more stuff.

Police report has been filed but hey, more eyes the better.

You think it'll never happen to you, then it does.

-Glock 20 10 MM
-Ruger Super Red Hawk Alaskan .44
-FHF Bino Harness in multi cam with Vortex 10x50 binos and Vortex Ranger 1000 rangefinder
-Garmin handheld GPS 64st (I think that's the model)

Few other things are taken too, credit cards, drivers license, combo safe with personal docs, but that's all been taken care of and closed out.

Never let your guard down. Ugh.

That really sucks man....sorry this happened.  It's not the items that were stolen as much as the fact your home and space has been violated.       

Appears this kind of thing is happening far to often these days.

Hate to hear about your loss but wondering how they got guns out of a safe?

They didn't get them out of the safes with the keys or combo or anything, they took the whole safe.

They got a pistol safe out of my truck that was cable locked to the seat, which they cut, then I had a second single pistol safe sitting on top of my long gun safe in the garage they took. So those safes are in a chop shop somewhere. Just glad the rifle and shotgun safe didn't disappear too.

They will be back.  Get cameras up ASAP and secure the crap out of your stuff.  They now know what is there and they will hit again if they think your other safe is an option.

dam that sucks brother...feeling of being violated in your personal space is the worst..I recently bought a used jeep and the previous owner had a gun safe bolted to the floor under the driver's seat and it works awesome...once its unlocked the drawer springs out.  I'm sure if someone took enough time they could pry it up from the frame but it would take longer than cutting a cable

I hate thieves and it really sucks they hit your place as well.  Like others mentioned they know what you have now and will likely be back.  The way this country is going I expect to see a civil war break out and soon there will be a lot of well fed coyotes running around from dead thieves.  They are just out of control with no repercussions to them.  I think society will reach a breaking point and start taking matters in their own hands like the wild west days.

That sucks and is probably the one thing about the homelink in my truck I don’t like. I wish it would only work when the key is detected (proximity key).

Cameras are great if you want to watch someone steal your sh#t.Motion sensing driveway alert are great if you want to catch them in the act.The one I have has 4 zones and 4 sensors with loud base unit in the house.1 beep,by my truck.2 beeps back gate.3 beeps in shed.4 beeps back of boat.

The Blink system is great.  The motion sensing camera lets you see things immediately on your phone, and the storage function is great in case you need to go back and look at a video again.  I have a camera on my front porch, and one on my back deck.  I would recommend this system wholeheartedly !!
