I recently purchased a pre-FN Winchester model 70 stainless classic with a featherweight style synthetic stock in perfect condition.
I haven't put a scope on it yet and thus have not shot it.
It looks really cool

...Every time I pick it up I have my doubts though. I don't know what it is...It seems so toy like.
I doesn't have the feel of my wood stocked rifles...obviously. Is it something you get used to?
My question is this: You guys/gals that have the synthetic stocks...do you like them? Why?
