The Irony of it all is that I was filming this buck and then somehow transitioned to the buck up above, and didnt even know it.  I was so focused on trying to stay focused (literally) in the thick stuff. I had no idea i was working with two bucks until I downloaded photos and looked at them last night.

Thank you all for your comments, it lets me know someone is actually interested in the photos I am posting.  Its a real pain in the ass to get photos so they can be uploaded on here and when you cant even find the thread because its buried in classifieds or covid posts, I wonder why bother.

I've enjoyed your photos for years, been lurking here since 15 I think.  Always wondered though, are they public land, private land or a mix of both where you get your shots at?  Anyways, great work, always nice to know the big bucks are out there, just gotta find em', Thanks.

Absolutely love the photos and they are the inspiration to keep hunting in hopes of one day harvesting a deer like the ones you capture in photos

Thank you.

Patient, well most of the time.   :chuckle:

I film wherever I legally can.   I’ve been as far north as the Canadian border, and as far south as the Arizona line in the last two weeks.   I like to emulate hunting conditions as much as possible, and I’m not a door knocker if that helps with that question.   Refuges have some serious monsters but I don’t particularly care for the paparazzi and the constraints.  100 photographers filming the same buck and filling social media with pics is not what I spend my time out there for.  In the past I have filmed some famous deer as the situation was right, but most of the time you’ll find me out on the range somewhere.

No, the publisher I used really cheapened the product and didnt change the price much.   My wife and I were talking about it, and decided that it was honestly kinda nice not having the pressure.   We did quite a bit more just watching wildlife instead of going for the "shot".

Both amazing bucks Doug!! Definite Studs for sure, the fact they were close enough to find them both for pics is very cool. IT is always great to see your pics, but part of that for me is knowing you are out doing what you love to do!! Keep them coming, and as always, thank you!

That’s unfortunate but understandable. Thanks for putting forth the best pictures on this website.

Do you have a Washington Buck thread so we can see more of the bucks we normally don't while we're hunting? ;)

Not sure how I missed this post, that is a seriously beautiful buck! And I think I speak for all of us by saying we very much appreciate the effort you put out. Not only in photographing these amazing animals, but then taking the time to share them with us here. These are the kinds of bucks that most of us (myself at least) will never see firsthand in the field. Your pictures show us what we could only dream about otherwise. Thank you!!
