How to protect your fishing spot

It amazes me that I fish with a guy that posts way to much on NWFR  , literally had people follow us from the dock, when in his boat.  The good news over half of the people are respectful but it still seems like a bad idea to me, He has only been doing it for the last 15 years so I figure he will stop soon

I like NWFR, but I never put the exact spot I fish on there.
