Saw two dead ones in the hwy while driving to work today.   Likely be more of people don’t slow down and pay attention.  Lots of critters down low right now for obvious reason.

Dang well with the winter we’re having and the summer we had I hope there’s not a big winter kill if so it’s gonna take a couple years to bounce the deer numbers back up it already is going to in the Spokane area

I think you’re right, that’s exactly what we are talking about.

Saw a big mulie boy yesterday down the road from the house with several others sunning on the top of a winter wheat hill and he only had one side too! Hoping I can walk up there and find the other side laying!

Saw a doe with a forky blacktail yesterday a few blocks from my house just sporting hi right antler. When I turned around to get a photo he must have jumped the slough and got up into the alder/blackberry jungle. I looked on the other side to see if the jump shook loose the other antler, but didn't see it.  The doe never quit feeding and sat there as I pulled up to look for the buck.
