Just the novelty of it is enticing. I drive by it most days on my way home from work and see elk not infrequently in or around it. Plus Bruce Richards always made it sound cool in there.

It is cool just driving around in there and like anywhere else, there is a chance at seeing a big animal.  I've always been told there are lots of cats and bears, I have yet to see one in there and my dad and I spent everyday except one in there with his deer tag.  Even took a predator caller in after we got his deer.  You could at least have fun antler hunting if you draw.

You can still access it after you get your animal? That would be cool

Yes, they encouraged us to take advantage of the access and try to kill a bear or cat.

Know of 2 regular bulls and a dink buck. Had the buck tag 10 years ago, not much has changed. Got flamed for it last year.

Best westside buck and bull tag on the westside, keep trying!!! It’ll be worth it!👍

Judd you always make me chuckle on these posts.  :chuckle:

Saw this guy out there right down the road from the gate last year... does that count for anything?  :dunno:   :chuckle:

Had to take a picture, cause you just don't see that every day.

I had a buck tag. Passed on multiple bucks up to 3 point then had a rough day got nervous and killed a 2 point. I did see a monster 4+ point on the south side of the river after I notched my tag, doubt I would have gotten a shot at it though.
