Best Layout Blinds Under $250

Looking for a quality layout blind that won't break the bank. I've set $250 or so as my spending limit. Any suggestions? Currently looking at the Final Approach Knockout and the Tanglefree Landing Zone (a little over the budget). I'm 5'-6" 170lbs so I don't need anything huge. Also looks like Alpz Zero Gravity is reduced to $299 in some colors...is it worth the extra $$?

I have the FA eliminator, I bought it used so I cant remember the price. It's huge and bulky, but extremely comfortable to hunt from. I used this if I'm not packing very far, I don't like to break it down.

I also have the Avery finisher, it's less comfortable but easier to breakdown and pack for a distance. This one I bought used also but I think they are about $150 new.

I have both the tanglefree dead zone and Rogers goosebuster.  I like them both.  If you can wait until Black Friday, I got a pretty good deal on the Tanglefree site two years ago and the two blinds I bought came with tyvex snow covers on that deal.

I've used a couple and it seemed to me the most significant difference between brands and models was the impact to the checkbook.

How does the framed footbox compare to a no frame footbox like on the knockout? Just a little more spacious and maybe easier to get in and out of?

The framed footbox is obviously higher profile than the simple bag footbox.  Some people like the frameless as it has less visibility and is somewhat easier to hide.  Framed ones are pretty boxy and you have to work more to soften the edges or they stick out.  Obviously that depends on how much the birds want into where you are hiding.

How much do you hunt?  I personally would go with the Rogers Goose Buster blind.  We have used those with good luck the last 6 years.  I also have 4 of the FA Pro-Guide, but they don't fold in half and are hard to carry out.  Better for driving into a field.  Also have the tangle free blinds, but the Rogers are inexpensive and work.  The pictures make the end look boxy, but they don't have support where your fee are, so with camo it conceals good, easy to setup and folds in half and you can unzip the end for a clean out when needed.  Free shipping on them and they are about $170 a blind.  We shoot a fair amount of birds out of them as well without issue.

Ended up going with the Lightweight Knockout. Rogers has it on sale right now and the no-pin set up sounds real nice!

I tried one of these early goose.  Seemed like if I sat back down into it to hard it came apart on me.  I had considered getting one until I used that one.  Hopefully you have better luck with yours.

First hunt in it went fine. No issues structurally. Still getting used to the mesh face covering though.

I use a much slimmer one from Avery that I love. But apparently Avery was bought by Banded & isn’t around, anymore.
