Cough Syrup
« on: November 21, 2021, 04:14:09 PM »
Homemade cough syrup
Take a teaspoon or a shoot depending on the severity of the cough  :chuckle:
May combat covid  :dunno: ( my opinion only, for which you can sue for what you paid for it, not dr fauci approved or fda approved, oh wait uh  )

Glass vessel
Candy canes, broken to fill vessel or as close as you have on hand
Honey as much as you like
Juice of a lemon
Wild Turkey

Break canes, put in vessel, add honey, juice lemon, add Wild turkey ( Reserve some for later  ;) )
Next day it is good to go

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Mine was a Coke Cola can at a cattle auction,  Dad finished his coke way before I did and filled it half full again,   I reached down by my feet and grabbed what I thought was my can and took a big swig...I still remember the slime and grit in my mouth

Looks darn tasty Buckmark.

I witnessed that happen to a friend. All I can say is he appeared to immediately turn a light shade of pale green and then proceeded to fully lose his lunch. I get a queezy shake every time I think about it!

I use the exact same recipe...without the candy canes, honey, or lemon juice. Follow me for more recipes.

Yes sir, no trout about that. Back in the day when younger brother and I stayed with our grandparents in Libby for a year or so, grams used to treat our ailments (cold, flu, whatever) with blackberry brandy.  Seemed to work just fine  :chuckle:
