State Wildlife Areas?
« on: December 02, 2021, 10:23:03 PM »
Greetings,
Sorry to ask the "dumb question" but if land is labeled as "State wildlife area" does that mean it's closed to hunting and trapping?
Thanks,
Gos

Not dumb at all. Normally I'd have said yes, but recently found land that was labeled State Wildlife Recreation. It was managed by the State Parks. Couldn't find anything saying blaze away.

Just go to this link, then pick an area and just follow through the options at each area.

It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

No, they vary per site, and some will have closed zones within them.
