When they were close to $100 last year and you could also get a $20 mail in rebate.  #FJB
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I bit more if you count the rebate.  Federal, Remington, seems like you could get a case of something every year for $99-109 with a $20 rebate.

I haven't duck hunted in a couple years but still have a case of heavy metal 3 1/2 2's at the house. Those are probably 40 bucks a box or more now.

All I see where I live are empty shelves where steel shotgun shells used to be. Must be a lot less skybusting as a result of price and availabilty. Or not?

Not necessarily. The sky-busting crowd are the ones who cleaned the shelves. They are the ones who think an average duck hunt takes 2 1/2 boxes of shells...

Sounds like  a good warm up for the afternoon hunt.
