Not a wolf, head is not blocky enough and the legs are too thin.  My best guess.

Send it to WDFW…

They will look at the photos… and determine if they need to look into it further.

I think it looks like a coyote but the best way to tell is either looking at the tracks or if you have some other pictures on the same cameras with deer you can compare size with them.

Too heavy for a yote, too wolfy for a dog, so I say wolf.

By no means an expert but I lean wolf as well. Having seen hundreds of coyote cam pics that is not what I would call that. Hybrid maybe, but lets be honest, we all know they are coming/here, its just a matter of time. Proof will start just like this and the one day, there will be a pack or four.

Cool pics, hope you get more, and we can get on with the lawsuits  :bash:.

Can't be a wolf. There are none on the West side.  Some Wolf / Dog crosses yes, Coyotes yes, but no wild wolfs.

A wolf (verified by WDFW) was hit and killed off I-90 well over on the west side about 2 years ago.

Guys posted on it here somewhere.

Not a rumor.

I want to say some guys on here had trail cam pics of the same wolf out by Carnation or thereabouts?

Not a wolf. Hybrid most likely.

:yeah: Let's close all hunting to all game species in the area until we have the science needed to determine if it's part yeti or chupacabra.
