Decoys in the fall
« on: November 07, 2021, 07:31:00 PM »
What’s up guys, first time fall turkey hunting. I’m efficient in the spring, but I want a thanksgiving bird this year. I’ve been trying to do my research on decoys and it seems like Jake decoys are the way to go. what’s everyone’s experience for decoy tactics during the fall? Any tips are much appreciated
Happy Hunting

I do not use decoys at alland I do call burds but mostly if you are hunting them off the roost and to settle them down.   2 best ways is to roost them the setup in the morning off the roost or ambush them.  Find there path or get ahead of a flock and setup.  Good luck.
