Sauk 437 disabled muzzleloader HELP
« on: December 09, 2021, 07:11:15 AM »
My brother in-law drew this tag. He had some health issues and wasn't planning on going. So, yesterday he tells me he is feeling up to going. Now I have to scramble for Intel. Going to be up there 16th- 19th.  He is going to book a motel,  doesn't feel up to camping. Not sure where we will be staying for sure. As always any information or help would be greatly appreciated. I know it's just a cow tag but it's still elk hunting.

I would suggest reaching out to WDFW for intel.  The majority of elk in 437 are on the valley floor/private property.

I have a buddy that drew that permit a few years back and knows a landowner that let him gladly kill a cow elk. I will call him here shortly and see
if he would be willing to give me the landowner information. Can't guarantee anything, but it's worth a shot. I have received a lot of help from guys here on the site so let's see if I can't work some magic and pass some along to you.
