« on: December 09, 2021, 07:12:01 PM »
I’ve never had an issue with brass not cleaning up after being tumbled but this brass(Winchester) is still pretty dirty. half are clean half are still pretty dirty around the necks. What do you guys do use them or toss them? Clean case on the left dirty on the right

Use them. I clean with ss pins. A squirt of dawn and a half tsp lemi shine or citric acid. Cover with an inch of water. About 2 hrs and done, primer pockets included. Thumblers tumbler.

You can get some reloading stuff that you can chuck it in a drill with some steel wool .
Then back in tumbler .
Or whatever ,but don't throw the brass away, that's brass under that cooked on gun powder burn.
Shoot it with it on there, don't throw away.

Little steel wool will clean it up fast or just shoot it like it is

I've used a few drops of lighter fluid on a rag to clean soot off necks before and it seems to clean them up well.

Flitz or any other similar polisher will get them nice and shiny.  If you want to toss them. Shoot me a PM.
