Anyone having issues getting your hunt report completed for Montana

AS GHK stated they will call you. Also, it is pretty random one year they called my about pheasants, but not about anything else. Seem like they are just taking a sample survey then do some math to estimate over all takes. It kind of makes sense, why call everyone when there are more deer and antelope killed by cars and trucks through out the whole year. As, for elk just look at all the elk in the Madison valley in January,
 that did not get killed during hunting season and you will think "there are plenty of elk here".

kind of related I watched a fish hatchery biologist  out figure (do the math) how on how much feed to put out based on the guessimated amount to total fish, after weighing just a few of the little buggers. A lot of math based on type of feed, amount of feed, stage of growth, type of fish, feedings per day, number of fish, plus past history experience. I probably left out some stuff.     
There are only so many sunrises left.
