This too is on my bucket list!  If you find a good Outfitter, please pass it along.  :)

Update- thanks for the tips and ideas. I hate when people get advice but don’t follow up so here it is. Caught(snagged) and reeled in with a spinning Rod. It was super fun recommend it to anyone that has interest.

Ended up going with central florida trophy hunts. I would recommend but they mentioned they would be high fencing at some point in the future so they can start doing exotics like axis deer and black buck. Probably wouldn’t change the alligator hunting much I just don’t like the idea of hunting inside a fence. They charge a bunch to process the meat which I paid and brought back. Other than the processing fee everything was awesome with them. They are good people

Holy Smokes.  The head size on that alligator is amazing.  Rifle hunt?  How far away for the shot?

You could shoot one and probably get 100 yards or less from them although you have a pretty small target. They go down once they see you and disappear under water.  We chose the bring them in with fishing poles just really heavy duty spinning rods. It’s quite the fight

Just realized I never answered the dispatch question. Stabbed it with a knife. Surprised it’s very quick way to take a gator out if you hit a specific spot behind the head on the back

Just an update and warning. DONT use Razzr ranch for alligator hunting in Florida. Went back down to a different place so tried them. Totally different experience than my hunt. Son got one but not much of a hunt. Pm if you have questions but just a public service announcement 😂
