Only two weeks before I get married and I was pushing the limit with my fiance on how much time I was gone hunting before our wedding but,  I pulled it off.  I said to a buddy that if I got a deer last weekend that these next 4 weeks would be the best four weeks of my life.  And that is, my deer kill this past weekend, my bach party next weekend, my wedding in 2 weeks, then our honey moon.  We were over in near colville,  Normally not a whitetail hunter, since mule deer call my name, but hey, Hunting is what I love to do.  I had good buddies with me to share this experience.  One who was right next to me telling me the yardage as the deer made it to 300 yrds facing up hill.  All I had was a hard shot.  I aimed at the spine, middle of the back,  The bullet went in at the lower back and magaged to hit the heart.  Went 75 yrds.  My personal best shot ever.  All took place within 15 or so mins before dark.  Thanks guys, I know you will eventually read this.  And to my Love, you are the best, and I want to thank you for all your support on my passion for hunting and fishing. :-)

Nice buck and congrats on the wedding and the bride who wants to hunt with you.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Finding a lady who appreciates you for who you are is really special. I too am that lucky. Even in college at WSU, my girlfriend (soon to be wife) would push brush for me during pheasant season. She would point the birds, but not retreive. That all came to an end the day she temporarily disappeared into an irrigation canal.  :chuckle: I still smile everytime I recall that one...
