AR type stock question
« on: December 25, 2021, 01:10:16 PM »
I have zero experience with AR type rifles.
If I want to get to this end goal:

I know I need this grip:

Do I need this stuff here:

I guess what I’m just trying to make sure of is that I need the buffer tube itself and that’s not part of the stock itself.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like the “stock” has the tube and adapter
https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!

I can't tell by the pics.
Maybe email before you place order.
Just a suggestion though.

The only thing a buffer tube does...
Is a spot for spring and buffer that works the action on AR.
Your case it looks like the only reason it would be there is for adjustable stock. And maybe a stash area. :chuckle: :chuckle:

Almost looks like the buffer tube and 1913 adapter are part of the stock

I think so too now that I paid attention to what it says in the description.

Thanks y’all.

I'd call and ask what comes with the stock. Learned my lesson on my first AR stock that the buffer tube and lock nut was not included.

Thanks. I looked at the Sharps website on my desktop today and found that they sell their grip with the Magpul stock and everything as a kit. Will probably go that route. Thank you again.
