Got out for a little hike this weekend and after a while of circling was able to match up the set! Rosie sheds are starting to drop in the coast range!

Mee too!
nice find might be a little early to be posting pics. If you didn’t see many people out you will now

IMO I don’t think him posting a freshie in 2022 has as much effect as the shed hunting influencers including the hush guys do.  Seems as if they have engrained in people these days that if you ain’t out there every week as soon as the snow melts that you ain’t gonna find squat.

That being said yes lots of people don’t post stuff anymore for good reasons.

Hushing 😂 those guys are ruining a lot of things. Not a fan. I don’t think posting horns on this site will have much effect but the so called “influencer’s “ will be the death of western outdoors as we know it, just my opinion but I already see the effects- specifically with shed hunting. Eric and the hushin boys took A fun excuse to roam the woods in the spring and turning it into a big competition and war zone.  Rant over! Sorry guys but naches is right

I haven't watched the hush videos, but there are definitely places where shed hunting has been a big deal for a while. I went near Jackson, Wyoming once in 2014. Shed hunting opened May 1. On opening morning there were guys lined up with pack strings crossing the Gros Ventres river at midnight, galloping to where the elk were and doing their searching by flashlight. You would see these guys coming out with multiple horses loaded with sheds at sunrise. We did a more normal 7 am start and one person in our group found one shed. It was crazy and really not very fun.
I like to go to places that aren't popular and just hike around. Not into the competitive nature of that kind of thing. Probably why I don't find many sheds.
If a man does his best, what else is there?

Nice Muley shed! Was that in a burn you found it?

These were from Saturday and Sunday. This is my pile. I found 31 and my partner found 34. I don't have permission to show his.

I had deer still packing this weekend and they are looking pretty faded on their heads. I think a bunch of those antlers above are fresh.

Hard to tell in picture but the closest 2 rows are fresh browns
