Too good of a deal to pass up at $1200 I pulled the trigger on a nxs 5.5-22x56 illuminated. The seekins low rings are too low for the 56mm so I need to get some med high or high rings. If anyone has a set they want to trade let me know.

I'm 67rds through the tube now and it's liking the 180gr berger hybrids at 2990fps with no pressure signs yet

Thanks! It's been a fun build! It was the last place I thought I would get a good deal, it was gun broker!

That’s awesome! Yea, I usually find the opposite of deals on the Gunbroker. Great score. Keep us updated on the build!

That's a sweet group... I am running a proof barrel on my 7mag with 180 bergers and the sweet spot on it seems to be 3050fps.  That's with RL26 which is just as hard to find as the others.

Yeah powder is scarce anymore. I've been lookin for reloder 25/26 but no luck. I got a few pounds of h1000 so I'm ok for a bit. I'm at 71grs with h1000 and no signs of pressure. I'm gonna bump it .3 grains and see if my groups hold up. I almost went proof but seen the bartliens and went that route, been real happy with it so far

Loaded up some 180gr berger hybrids behind 71.3grns of h1000 and hit 3050fps today. I just loaded 3 rounds with that charge and 2 were duplicates, the 3rd was a little slower but the Lab radar mount was lose and seen it wobbling after that shot from the muzzle brake. But the group was great so I'll load up more for next weekend  . Left group was 71.3gr, middle and right were 71gr, far right was 200yds the others were 100.

After just over 3 months of waiting my mcmillan stock finally arrived! It's all put together now, couldn't be more happy with how this turned out!
