If it’s not safe to shoot “beyond this season”, it’s not safe to shoot now. I’d get a second opinion.

Thank you. I definitely want to do that. I wouldn't feel good brushing off his advice and trying to push it. I like my face, hands, etc etc...But also good to hear if there is an objection to the original gunsmith's note.

It's safe or not safe ,there is no in between.

Is the guy in Lewiston still making barrels? I think his company name was Hells Canyon Armory. If I remember right, he did some custom barrel work with Tikka's.
