Local Tannery?
« on: January 16, 2022, 11:25:52 AM »
To start off, I am located in Buckley, Pierce County.
I am starting to teach myself how to flesh and salt coyote and bear hides to be tanned. Figured it would be a fun hobby and save me a few bucks on paying a taxidermist to do it. I have a couple finished and ready to be sent off to a tannery for a basic pelt tan. I am struggling to find any relatively local/reasonably priced tanneries to send these to.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have looked in to Moyles Tannery in Idaho which may be my fall back.
Thanks!

Chehalis Fur and Hide?

I don't like to bash companies but man this company is like no other. They are horrible. Let's keep it simple. Don't go there. I mean that to save a lot of heart ache.
