Where to go shooting near Olympia/ Shelton area...
« on: January 11, 2022, 03:03:22 PM »
Hi Guys, I would like to sight in a couple guns this weekend and trying to avoid going to the range. I used to have a spot I would go to near Shelton. The area is now Green diamond access permit only. Anyone willing to share a place or two that I could put up some paper and sight in a couple guns with the family this weekend?

PM me, Ill send a couple of drop pins in the Capitol Forest.

JBLM has a range that is very well organized and safe but requires some $$$.

Boot, have you used the range on Ft Lewis?  It’s actually really good. You do have to pay but it’s cheap. I think 15 bones to shoot all day?  Only open on the weekends. Two besides normal range rules/procedures given out by the range personnel, there are NO magnums allowed. You can shoot targets or steel out to 300 yards.

What’s the process for getting on JBLM? Also when you say no magnums. So no 300wsm?
