Kyle Rittenhouse’s favorite rifle.  I hear they work well in riot situations.

I have a couple S&W M&P 15 Sport IIs.
They are Very good off the shelf ARs. Both shoot well with factory ammo.
You won’t be disappointed.

Honestly if you buy a “mil spec” AR, you will be fine.
You don’t have to put out high $$ to get a decent shooter anymore.

Best for the price IMO.  I wanted one, couldn't find one, so built one.

Smart way too go!
Get yourself a Lower that has never had an Upper mounted.  An Upper in a “Pistol” configuration. Mount it to the Lower.
You now have an AR Pistol. Buy yourself another upper in “Rifle” configuration and a stock. And you can now legally switch them back and forth as you wish, as long as the Lower was built as Pistol first, and you replace the stock with a brace.

You can get a decent Lower and Upper for less then most off the shelf ARs. And have a better rifle!
