To put in for points does it have to be done by the end of January?

I’m in. Why not. Max points but still low draw odds.

I'm sitting on 3 pts but feel like this year will be 3.5 for the general to have it guaranteed - sitting it out for another year so it's more of a sure thing
it was 3.5 last year. It'll jump to 4 or even 4.5 this year. I know a bunch of guys in that 5-7pt range jumping on the general train. Too many YouTubers preaching the general gospel.

I am only doing 1 out of state hunt this year and its going to be Mule Deer in Region G in Sept. I have to get my house built, tired of being a vagabond with no real home. 15 points next year for Wy. Elk! Decisions will need to be made.

This for sure.  I am thinking it could actually be a decent year to draw a quality tag from the random pool.  Some of those randoms are already around 5%, and could get better this year with all the guys jumping to General.  The odds for the random general plummetted last year, and I expect they'll be even worse this year!

Unit I'm applying for was 5% last year with 0 points, random special.  That's better odds than my WA pick with 10 points.  Fingers crossed, but already have a plan for the refund check.

They put it back on your card.  Make sure you don't change numbers or I'm sure it's fun to sort that out.

hmm, so if I pay it off before they put it back, I’ll have $700 sitting on my card that I’ll have to spend?! Usually I have a balance so not a big deal, guess I’ll have to go buy another gun then!

I slipped up and pulled my debit card out.  Hopefully I won't get a refund.  :chuckle:  I've already balanced my books.
