Gearmatic winch
« on: January 28, 2022, 11:21:22 AM »
Any of you equipment guys or loggers know anything about Gearmatic winches?  I've got a Model 7 that I'm trying to decide what to do with.  Can't find much online on this particular winch.  Looking for specs - line pull, speed, typical uses, etc.

Got it with my boat years ago, was going to make a longline reel out of it, or a boat mounted winch to pull logs off the beach.

Who knows something about these winches?

You might try calling the service number.

That would be sweet mounted in the back of a pickup, or on a trailer behind a sxs, utv.👍
