Every single member on this site needs to follow the action items listed by BHA, contact the commission, contact the gov and contact the natural resource committee. The antis have gotten wind of vacancies and are actively working to further influence the situation. The meeting for Jan 21st is coming up quick and it’s vital we make out position heard.

It’s simple to do. Get it done.

BHA was one of two national conservation orgs that co-signed on the only successful petition today for spring bear. They've also been working daily with Marie at the INWC and submitted over 1400 commissioner letters in regards to meeting today in addition to calls to action throughout the process going back months. Volunteers have been on podcasts, elevated this issue nationally through a piece on meateater and authored a letter tothe governor co-signed by local and national hunting groups including sportsmen's alliance, DU and the INWC.

It has shown leadership throughout this process and even INWC has said the same in a recent podcast. Hate all you want, call it a bunch of green decoys but it has fought the good fight the whole time and is standing up for hunting in Washington.

I don't see nearly the same scrutiny applied to orgs that either didn't weigh in or showed up real late to the action...

Washington BHA was also awarded Inland Northwest Wildlife Council's 2021 Bill Rollins Master Hunter Award "presented to a Washington state organization that shares in the principles of the INWC and support of the INWC's mission"
