Stripping paint?

Any Ideas on stripping paint off a scope tube body? Ziess scope, krylon matte camo paint. Tried paint thinner and steel wool, very time consumeing. Any ideas? Thanks.

Methyl Ethal Ketone a little bit goes a long way.

I used acetone to take the Krylon off my rifle barrel... poured a little on... let it sit for a minute... then rubbed it off with a rag.

that will work for non-catalized paint, if it dont, an aoutmotive paint store will have "aircraft stripper", use that, will eat it, i promise. DO NOT get it on your hands.

Will it eat the original coating off? I know ziess uses some pretty good stuff.

it will eat paint off a new car in under 10 minutes, kinda messy, so be carefull

One of the pards has a duracoat setup. If something doesn't workout, I'll have him spray it...
