My son's bull 1st place

My boy is happy,his bull took 1st place in this year's competition at Puyallup sportsman show cascade Roosevelt elk  356 2/8 .I didn't know there were different Roosevelt elk.  He won a handgun 9mm Smith and wesson.

I was wondering where this bull would end up score wise.
he would have scored 371 if he was shot on the other side of i-5

Great bull, especially with a bow!  I didn't realize the rosie and cascade were scored differently???
all elk are scored the same. Different book minimums but the scoring process is the same.

The northwest big game record book calls him a cascade roosevelt elk because he was killed east of I-5. Boone and Crockett, Pope and Young etc will consider him a Rocky I believe for the same reason.
Stud bull regardless of where he was killed. Congrats to your son.
