Unbelievable difference for my AR.  Can be found for less if you shop. I went with the SD E.

Which of the whopping 25 triggers did you get?

Super Dynamic Enhanced is what I have.  If you go to their page (or youtube), and watch the vids of the owner talking about the different triggers and their applications, you will get a better overall understanding of AR triggers.

I love my LaRue triggers, ...however best bang for the buck, I think is RRA, great triggers, and a little cheaper.

I think you can improve most triggers by sanding and polishing the moving and contact surfaces. I've improved many triggers with out even touching the sear.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

For a military style trigger I run a BCM and it is very smooth in my SBR. For my 224 Valkyrie I have a Triggertech that was a special run and it is about a 2# pull. I like it for what I want it for.

I've sanded and polished triggers a few times.
Did it in my ar10 and and the added recoil or something was messed up. Trigger didn't reset right. Hammer was falling with the bolt ,3 or 4 round burst. Then you could charge it and shoot again with the same result.
Never had it fire out of battery ,but that seemed like it was going to happen.
Never had anything like that happened with ar15 though.
And I've sanded a few.
But since I wanted to hunt with it,and be "safe" and all.
I bought one of these.
Free shipping and all.
It's not a match trigger ,but leaps and bounds better than factory or milspec.

Look on graniteridge outfitters ,jmt sabor 99 dollars shiped.
For some reason my phone won't paste the link.

I have use the Hiperfire EDT, and for $100 it's well worth it. Has multiple springs so you can get a 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 trigger pull. Clean break and short pull!

I also highly recommend the Larue. I have several along with  JP Enterprise ( nice trigger but twice the money) and a Rock River National match varmint ( too light of pull in my opinion for hunting) but very clean break. Of the 3 I still prefer the Larue. Check out Alpine rifle supply, they have the Larue for $94 delivered.

I ended up getting impatient because I also got a new scope and wanted to use the new trigger on sight in before this weekend. I went to Sportsman's and bought a Timney for $139 HAHA. We'll see how I like it.

Nothing special. Somebody turn me on to an Anderson mil spec trigger. I like it I put it in my Ruger 204 no complaints. I’m a fan of Timney but that’s a little bit over your price range of 150. GL😉🥃🇺🇸
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

If I hadn’t posted this thread I would’ve impulse bought a Rise that looked awesome that was on a site that had 15% off all triggers and it would’ve been like $130 shipped. The Timney feels super good, looking forward to shooting with it. Incredibly crisp 😍

For some reason a couple reviews I read on the JMT trigger turned me off, didn’t want to wait a week to get it and not like it. 🤷‍♂️
