Mule deer auction tag
« on: February 11, 2022, 05:49:15 PM »
Really WDFW this is the best photo you can supply to try and raise funds for our mule deer herds.? There’s been some 200” bucks killed not too long ago with the tag how about something bigger than a dink😆 Maybe whoever was in charge is trying to buy the tag🤷🏽‍♂️

That's hilarious.  Really no words for that picture.  Not only is the buck representative of an average mule deer killed in this state the picture is horrible.

Maybe trying to keep the bidder count down.    :dunno:

There hasn't been a 200" buck killed with the Gov tag here in many many years. Most of the 3 deer and mule deer Gov tags haven't even been filled recently. Definitely nothing 200".

That’s a good representation of what to expect after you drop 30k on a mule deer tag in the state.

Most recent was a raffle tag buck.. my post wasn’t really about 200” Washington deer as I am well aware of the demise of our deer herds. I guess I am just suprised wdfw can’t come up with a better picture when the idea is to raise as much money as possible with this auction tag..

I suspect the high bidders for this tag already have a pretty good idea of what is out there.

That's what happens when you expect your customers to send you free pictures and sign a release giving them the rights to it.
