I about peed a little when it was brought to her attention that the snake river dams are not under "Washington's Control".   :chuckle:

Just shows how out of touch with reality she really is.   :o

Gary
One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset

Wonder if Lorna has the appropriate documentation required to have a freezer full of wild game that has been donated by her neighbors.

You just sound jealous of her neighborhood crazed spicy venison chili :chuckle: :chuckle:

Lorna is a classic example of only wanting to see "the science" she agrees with.  Presented with ample information, data and recommendations - in advance of the WDFW Commission meeting concerning Spring Bear hunting...but she chose to vote it down because she's pro large carnivore and doesn't give a rat's backside about hunters or hunting.

So...on one hand she demands science...but on the other she wants the Snake River dams removed.

100% cuckoo for Hypocritical Cocoa Puffs.

no surprise - 4 democrats in favor of lorna, 3 republicans against. i'm guessing "moving on to the rules committee" is a formality?

As stated above, plenty of science that she didn’t want to hear. She wants to work across the aisle but only if they agree with her. What a maroon.

Yes. Rules, then maybe pushed to the Senate floor for a vote which could be problematic since neither chamber has done anything with the budget and the candle is burning fast on this legislative session.

We need to run out the clock on this and a number of other issues until the gavel strikes on sine die.

So, when she votes against it, we should be able to charge her with lying to congress.

<BLEEP>

Of course Senator Van de Wege cut the hearing short for at least two of the most hotly contested Inslee appointees.

Good grief.

 :rolleyes:
Yea, that means their confirmation is in trouble so if you're Van de Wege you string it out and run out the clock. Not enough time to confirm or reject and they fill the position anyway.
Depressing!
