Question for the exo fans.
Does the frame height bonk you on the back of the head?thats the one thing keeping me from moving out of my f1 mainframe. Love the design of the exo packs, but if can't look forward from a prone position its a deal breaker for me.

No, I have the pack properly adjusted.   There's some great tutorials on youtubes on how to fit a backpack that doesn't involve sinching the load lifters tight and calling it good

If you are looking just for a bad azz frame, BullPac.  Comfy, light and if you want eventually you can buy a bag for it.  But its a packing machine.

I know the people who own BullPac. Good people and they do good work.

Another happy Bullpac user.
Have the rifle carrier attachment that works very well.
Money well spent.

BullPac  yes, have carried Elk loads out a few times, No complaints.  My body gives out long before the pack would. :chuckle:

The comparison of a bullpac vs kifaru with a load sling is not close when it comes to comfort.  The bullpac is great and hauled dozens of bulls but sits idle everytime. I have both as well as stone glacier, mystery ranch and a couple others in the closet. All of my gear gets a lot of work (except the last 2 seasons) and kifaru is my default.
