Northern Pike finished and shipping

So finally got my nieces northern pike finished now just have to ship to New York
22 years 3 months and 4 days, happily retired from the U.S Army.

what an awesome fish...where was it caught and how big is it?

Jackelope thanks for the compliment, it is 36 inches long, was caught in Wisconsin.

I charge 15.00 an inch for skin and 21.00 an inch for replicas, I make a small base depending on the fish, usually driftwood or something similiar. If there is a request for some larger or other type of habitat I charge extra.

Thank You, yep it is a pain to ship, made a 37 x20 x11 inch plywood box for it last night. Weighs about 25 pounds all together just can't wait for the abuse I am going to receive at UPS today

Do you know what lake in WI?  I have caught many hundreds in a couple lakes and rivers near where I grew up.  Green Lake on the Ripon side holds some absolute monsters.

That is a nice fish but I never have understood the whole bend the fish in a position that is completley unnatutural thing. :dunno: The quality looks very good from the pic though. :twocents:

Rasbo,

It is a left turn pose, a lot of people like that pose instead of a straight on mount, with this pose it displays the head, and tail away from the wall. I enclosed a little video found on you tube go to the 18 second mark and stop it, I love that strike position the pike did.

thats cool.I lived on the delta in calif.my dad and I jigged for blackbass in the tules,some times you could watch them go after it,so cool.thats a great clip I love to watch them take a bait.we raised some 5lb blacks and fed them minnows same thing..

A lot of big baits, spinners called baby girls, suicks, 9 inch senko's anything BIG!!!! The bigger they are the funner it is, but man shoulder gets wore out hunking 6-9 oz baits all day
