Is that new? I thought because of hide sealing requirement it was the only one that you didn't have tonreport.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I think it started a couple years ago.  Think it's more about tracking who actually goes hunting, GMU and number of days.

Oops here.

Since the license year ended yesterday I thought I was being prompt when I went online to post my harvest report this morning.  Too late.

Seems like a smidge of time between last day of license and reporting deadline might be reasonable, but not in WA.  I hunted yesterday.  Should have waited till a half hour after sunset and reported the minute the tag and license expired  instead of taking wife to dinner.

Tried to report last night and made me make 2 GMU choices when I only was in one.  Finally said I didn't hunt and it went thru.   :dunno: :bash:

Same here ,went scouting for youth turkey last nite.
Went to bed early to get up early to take kid out.
Got that email at 4 in the mourning reminding me to report.
Got on my account ,couldn't report.sent email to WDFW.
I guess if I have to pay the ten dollars ,I'll have to pay next year ,already bought all this year's stuff.

If anyone gets a fine for non report, here is some ammo for you. Wild ID online reporting sets the due date at 3-31-22 and looks to be "required".  And page 10 of the 2021 regs state " You are not required to report cougar transport tags unless you harvest a cougar (see hide sealing requirements on page 69)." In the 2021 regs it also states  (page 69) it was amended to require reporting as of 1-1-22  I didn't find anything in WAC 220-413-100 to reference mandatory reporting for cougar.  The WAC is the actual rule, regardless of the WILD ID reporting or an obvious contradiction in the big game pamphlet.
Introduce someone new to hunting this year.

I reported "did not hunt" on mt lion wsy back in jan, only way I could think to avoid late reporting, and odds on getting one are low.

Turns out I actually did not hunt  :chuckle:   got into ice fishing instead

I called them last year on the confusion over the reporting. They said to disregarded as the system is messed up???

So I just assumed the report would be due at the end of season 4/30. Now when I go to my fish and wildlife account it won't let me do anything with my cougar tag as far as reporting. Does this mean I get a fee this year for not reporting my cougar hunting when I buy tags?
