Fishing-itis keeps me from working. I take fishing control pills, but they just barely take the edge off.

Good Luck on the CR Springers. Definitely something special about that first fish of the year!

Pretty dead at I5 today. Trolled the first 5 hrs w/no bites, only saw one net. Anchored for the bottom of the tide 1-5pm and managed a fish just after 3PM. There were a lot of boats early but they thinned out quick, sign of no fish. There were a few less sea lions than last weekend. Will be in the Kalama/Prescott stretch for Sunday.

Rough go out of Kalama today! No bites trolling or on the hook. Saw 2 nets. Stiff breeze made it tough in an open boat but it did not rain on the water! Fish checker had 7 for 25 boats at 3pm.  Very slow for the final weekend of the season! Good luck if you get out before it closes!

Hit Drano this morning with my little guys. Saw 6 or 8 other boats, didn’t see any nets fly. It’s still quite a bit early but beats the hell out of yard work. Wind and rain picked up about 10, little dudes got cold so we hung it up and had brunch.

Went 2/4 on Sunday 21-32ft brined cp and triangles fished 9-3 and then started getting choppy so we called it around low tide. Hopefully we get an extension as back to work for me

If we get an extension it'll be after the run is gone.  Typically June 1 up to opening of summer season
