Daughters youth turkey success.

With work and chores we only had today to hunt and had to go in blind. Finally on mile 8 we found a tom that wanted to play the game. After about 30 minutes and only one gobble he showed up in front of us spitting and drumming. It felt like an eternity but after 5 minutes or so he presented a shot at 45 yards, bird down! One more youth season and she’s in the big leagues.

Congrats! My daughters last year youth, first weekend hunting. Missed 2 shots. I called the Tom in too close! We had another at 65 yds this morning, breeding hens. For 40 min, it would not come closer.
